Pretty, traditional style 5 stone emerald ring. The stones are set in 18 carat gold and it is fully hallmarked on the inside of the shank.
The ring is based on a Victorian style, but is approximately 1960s, and the setting is quite elaborate while being secure. Emeralds are quite soft stones, but this setting would ensure that they would never be damaged.
