| Garnet & Chrysoberyl Regency Ring |
This is a beautiful example of a ring from the Regency period (early 19th Century). The centre stone is a natural chrysoberyl and is flanked either side by two heart-shaped almandine garnets. The stones are set in high carat gold and the entire ring is all original.
Chrysoberyl is a little used stone now, but was widely used at the time. It is a semi-precious stone and is generally pale yellow in colour.
One of the garnets in this ring is damaged, but the rest of the ring is in immaculate condition, which is incredible considering it's age.
