| Georgian 15ct Gold Heart Pendant with Ruby & Turquoise |
This is a beautiful Georgian 15ct heart pendant with a lovely flower design with a central ruby surrounded by turquoise. The gold has a lovely textured effect and the pendant has a small glass back which contains plaited hair. It was customary to put the hair of a loved one in lockets during the period.
The pendant measures 2cm from the top of the loop to the tip of the heart and is 1.3cm at it's widest point.
There is a tiny dent on the back left at the curve of the heart, but this does not detract from the piece's beauty. |
