Beautifully made rolled gold snake bracelet in perfect condition. It has a fabulous face with snakeskin details and a 'coiled' body which is almost spring-like and in perfect condition. The tail also has snakeskin details on it.
The bracelet is marked as 'rolled gold, foreign' on the underside of the head. This means the item has a metal core that is coated with gold, normally 9ct gold. Often the metal core is brass.
The bracelet measures 10"/25cm from the tip of the tail to the end of the head and there is approximately a 2"/5cm overlap allowing for the bracelet to stretch to fit over the hand and then fit the wrist like a bangle. |
