| 9ct Gold Amethyst & Pearl Pendant |
This pendant is from the late Victorian, early Edwardian period and is in beautiful condition. It has a central amethyst which is faceted at the back giving some fabulous light patterns through the front. Inset into the stone is a gold star design, which has four tiny old cut diamonds set into it. The amethyst is set into a beaded gold edge and is then surrounded by an intricate twist design of gold, which has pearls set into it.
It is a beautiful design and rather unusual in it's style. The pendant measures approximately 2.4cm and is 2cm wide. These measurements do not include the jump ring, which would add an extra 1cm to the length.
The pendant is not hallmarked, but has been tested as 9ct gold. |
