| 15ct Gold Victorian Book Locket with Pages |
This 15ct Victorian locket is absolutely incredible as it has turning pages, as if it were a book, with a hinge for the spine. It comprises of three moveable pages inside and could hold up to eight photos, one on either end and two back to back in each of the frames. Five would probably be the best. The front and back are both patterned with different designs and it is very pretty.
It is in good condition with only a small line dent on the back. The pages are slightly crinkled, but considering it's age, it is lovely. The centre page stays in the same place, while all the others move on the hinge. The hinge is solid and it has a good catch to hold all the pages together.
It is a delicate piece and it is very rare to find such a lovely item. The book measures 2.1cm in length and is 1.8cm wide. It is on a little safety chain of 6.5cm with a pin at the end. There is plenty of room in the jump ring for a chain to be passed through.
