| 9ct Gold Back & Front Family Locket |
This Victorian family locket is absolutely stunning. It is in excellent condition and has the same buckle design on the front and the back. It opens from both sides and a picture could be seen from either side. The glass inside is original and slides out easily to allow the photos to be slotted behind. It is made from 9ct gold on the back and the front, which has been tested, while the inside is made from metal and has been plated with a gold wash. One side of the gold wash on the inside has suffered a little bit of loss round the edge, but this is hardly noticeable. Please refer to the pictures. The locket alone measures 3.5cm in length and is 3cm wide. The large loop at the top adds an extra 1.5cm to the length. This locket is beautiful quality and has some real weight. It is the best locket of it's kind that I have seen. |
