| 18ct Gold Crucifix on Chain |
This beautiful crucifix pendant is from the early Victorian period and is made from solid 18ct gold. It is approximately 0.5cm deep as it actually opens to reveal a small recess where a memorial momento might have been stored. The pendant is in good condition, though there has been a little repair to one side. Photos can be supplied if required.It is an unusual piece and I have never seen anything like it. The recess slots perfectly into the casing. It must have taken an extremely skilled jeweller to create it.The pendant is not hallmarked, but has been tested as solid 18ct gold. The chain on this pendant is sold separately. |
