This stunning pair of solid high carat gold and lapis lazuli double drop earrings are in immaculate condition. They are a form of 'night & day' earrings as the bottom drops can be hooked off so that the top single stone can be worn alone (see pictures). The lapis stones are a rich royal blue, typical of this beautiful stone.
They are from the early 20th Century, possibly Art Deco. The gold is not hallmarked but has been tested as at least 14ct gold. Judging by the period they are from, they are likely to be 15ct gold.
The earrings measures approximately 2.5cm from the top of the first stone to the bottom of the second.
