This beautiful Georgian coral necklace is an absolutely amazing and rare piece. The necklace is made up of two strands of natural coral that have been uniformly carved and threaded onto their strand in alternate orange and white sections. Each section is approximately one inch long and the necklace could be worn either twisted or flat as shown in the pictures. It has it's original Georgian clasp, which is a small sphere of carved orange coral with 9ct gold ends.The clasp has an excellent snap closure (9ct gold) and the necklace has recently been re-strung so is in excellent shape. The whole piece is truly remarkable. The short strand of the necklace measures 15"/38cm and the long strand is 16"/41cm. The ball of the clasp measures 0.7cm in diameter. |
