| Amethyst & Pearl Edwardian Pendant on Chain |
This fabulous Edwardian pendant has a pear shaped amethyst as it's centre piece that is surrounded by graduated seed pearls. The amethyst is a wonderful, vibrant purple and is a deep cut faceted stone. Atop the pear shaped design is a little bow, which has also been studded with seed pearls and the pendant has it's original bale, again studded with seed pearls. The whole piece is in immaculate condition.
The pendant is made from 9ct gold, which is not marked, but has been tested, and hangs on a 9ct gold chain. The chain is hallmarked with an old fashioned '9ct' tab near the clasp.
The pendant measures 4cm from the top of the bale to the base of the pendant and is 1.8cm wide at it's widest point. The chain is 16"/41cm. |
