A beautiful Victorian 15ct gold, locket back, pendant set with seven round pieces of coral to the front that are attached using solid gold wire. As you can see from the inside back (last picture), the locket is in excellent condition where the coral has been attached. Surrounding the outer edge of the pendant is a length of twisted solid gold and, overall, the 15ct gold has the marvellous yellow colour that you would expect, offsetting the coral beautifully.

The locket back removes with ease. In the pictures it looks as though the locket back as a silver edge, but in reality, this is a pale rose gold, probably 9ct, rather than the 15ct of the main piece. The 15ct gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as such. The pendant is 2.5cm in diameter with the bale adding 0.5cm to the overall length.
