This is a pretty and delicate amethyst and pearl pendant from the Edwardian era with a beautiful faceted oval amethyst as the centre piece at the top set in 15ct gold millegrain setting. Hanging from this stone is a chain interspersed with 3 baroque pearls ending in a 'fringe' of 9 gold chains, each with a little seed pearl at the bottom.

The pendant measures 6.5cm from the top of the bale to the base of the fringe and the amethyst is 0.9cm by 0.6cm. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as 15ct gold. It has a slight rose tint to it.
