| Ruby & Diamond 18ct Gold Ring |
This stunning ruby and diamond ring from the Victorian period is a truly unusual design and has a beautiful cushion cut diamond as the centrepiece. The central diamond measures approximately 40 points across, but is a deep stone, as can be seen from the photograph of the side view, and may weigh a little more than this. It is approximately K colour, VS1 clarity. There are eight smaller diamonds, each measuring approximately 6 points each, and 6 rubies, approximately 8 points each. The diamonds are all old cuts and are a good colour overall. One has a slight champagne colouring. The rubies are all faceted cuts and all have a good pink colour. Overall, there is approximately 90 points of diamonds in the whole ring. The stones are set in 18ct yellow gold, which really shows them off to their true advantage. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested. This truly is a remarkable ring and looks incredible on the hand as the stones cover the whole of the top of the finger.Ring size UK O US 7.25 |
