This stunning 15ct gold necklace from the late Victorian/early Edwardian period is an excellent example of the delicate style that is typical of this era. The whole necklace is made from solid 15ct gold and has some beautiful gold work set with pearls making up part of the chain. Central to this is a pearl set flower and hanging from the flower is a detachable star pendant providing the main feature of the necklace. The star is beautifully set with seed pearls and is in immaculate condition, as is the whole necklace. The star pendant is hallmarked on the back as 15ct, and the chain part of the necklace is hallmarked as 15ct on the clasp. The chain measures 16"/41cm. This measurement does not include the main star, which, when measured alone, is 2.4cm in diameter. |
