| Aquamarine & Peridot 3 Stone Ring |
This stunning 3 stone ring is from the early Victorian period and boasts a beautiful pale blue pear shaped aquamarine as it's centrepiece, which is claw set in the early style. To either side, there are two lush, vibrant green peridot stones, which truly offset the aqua to it's best advantage. This is not an unusual combination, as the two colours work incredibly well together, but the style is remarkable. The three natural gemstones are in closed back settings. The stones are set in solid high carat gold, probably 18ct, and the setting is finished off with some delicately worked shoulders. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as high carat. The aquamarine measures 1cm in length by 0.5cm in width and is slightly rubbed on the top. The two peridots are 0.5cm in diameter and in excellent condition.
