| 9ct Gold Edwardian Cufflinks |
These fantastic cufflinks are from the Edwardian period and are made from 9ct gold with rock crystal tops that reveal beautifully detailed pictures painted on mother of pearl. The cufflinks depict penny-farthings with their riders, probably in a race as they have different coloured jerseys. The penny-farthing is a Victorian invention, but the racing continued until the 1920s. The cufflinks are in beautiful condition with solid gold etched bars on the other end. These bars could possibly be replacements to the originals, but this is not clear and the cufflinks are truly in immaculate condition. They measure 1.6cm in diameter and the gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as 9ct gold. |
