| Victorian Gold Snake Bracelet |
This beautiful Victorian snake bracelet is made from solid high carat gold, probably 15ct. It has been beautifully made with the main bulk of the bracelet resembling the scales of a snake. The head of the snake is mainly enamel, which is in excellent condition, with old cut diamond eyes and a string of seven graduated natural seed pearls. The underside of the snake's head has a slight dent in it and there is some general wear and tear in the gold 'scales' near the head and clasp, though the snake is in overall good condition. The catch is very secure and there is a safety chain for extra security. The head of the snake is 2cm long and the main body of snake is 7"/17cm long. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as high carat gold. The box in the picture is for display only. |
