| 9ct Gold Garnet & Pearl Heart Necklace |
This pretty almandine garnet and pearl necklace is from the late Victorian period and has a central scroll design set with pearls, hanging from which is a lovely gold heart with a central soft pink garnet; the colour typical of almandine garnets. There are three other almandine garnets, one sitting proud in the centre and two at either end of the design. The necklace is made from solid 9ct gold and this is hallmarked on the back of the heart. The necklace is in excellent condition with a beautiful twist chain and bar clasp. The clasp is very secure. The necklace measures 15.5"/39cm and the central design is 4.8cm across by 2.2cm tall. |
