| Georgian Garnet & Enamel Ring |
This beautiful Georgian ring is fantastic quality and has a central cabachon cut almadine garnet with an elaborate border and black enamel framing the design. The shoulders also have two panels of black enamel with a gold floral inlay. The enamel is in excellent condition. The shank of the ring is the same elaborate gold design and the ring is completely original having never been sized. The ring is engraved beneath the central design with some words and a date - 1821. The ring is made from high carat gold, probably 15ct. This is not marked, but has been tested. Ring size UK L 1/2 US 5.75 |
