| French 18ct Gold Diamond Earrings |
These pretty French earrings are from the mid Victorian period and are made from solid 18ct rose coloured gold. They are set with old cut diamonds with ten small diamonds surrounding a centre stone to create a daisy design. The central diamond is approximately 25mm wide with the surrounding ten measuring approximately 2mm wide. They hang from another old cut diamond and are articulated at this point. The earrings measure 1.5cm in length from the top stone to the bottom of the circle with the daisy measuring 0.9cm in diameter. The diamonds are all claw set in 18ct gold. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as such. The earrings have the fastenings typical of French earrings, which are very secure when worn in the ear. |
