These pretty earrings are from the late Georgian/early Victorian period and are made from solid 9ct gold. They have two garnets on each earring, both of which have been set in a closed back setting, typical of jewellery from this period. The garnets are a lovely deep pink colour and sit prettily in their 9ct gold setting. The earrings are fully articulated. The main part of the earring measures 2.7cm in length and the hooks add an extra 0.7cm to the total length. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as 9ct gold. |
