| Almandine Garnet & Pearl 9ct Gold Necklace |
This beautiful 9ct gold necklace is from the late Victorian/early Edwardian period and is an unusual design with a central gold spray with eight almandine garnets surrounded by a white enamel frame. The enamel is in excellent condition and leading up from this is a length of five seed pearls that are topped by a larger, beautiful pink almandine garnet. The whole piece is made from solid 9ct gold and this is marked on the back of the frame.The pendant measures 4cm in length and is 2.1cm at it's widest point.The necklace is finished with a 9ct gold chain that is 18"/45.5cm in length. |
