| Limoge Enamel 9ct Gold Pendant |
This stunning pendant is circa 1910 and was made in Limoges in France, which is the European centre for vitreous enamel. It is a painted enamel portrait on a metal plate and is set into a 9ct gold frame, which has been decorated with a pretty design of old cut diamonds and natural seed pearls. There are eight of each, with the diamonds set in pretty star designs. This is a beautiful eye-catching piece and would look incredible on with the vibrant green in the enamel really making a statement. The pendant is signed by the artist, L.Clement, and the oval of the pendant measures 2.1cm by 1.5cm. The jump ring adds 0.6cm to the length. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested.A fine 9ct gold chain could be supplied for an extra charge if required. |
