| French 18ct Gold Diamond Earrings |
These pretty French earrings are made from solid 18ct gold and have a central diamond in an interesting gold design. The diamonds are approximately 0.1 of a carat each and are a good colour and clarity. The earrings date to approximately the 1920s and are a really intriguing design.
The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as 18ct gold. The hooks are hinged at the base and fasten to the front meaning the earrings would be inserted into the ear from back to front. The earrings measure 1.3cm in length and are 1cm wide. The hook adds an extra 0.4cm to this length. The gold is a beautiful bright yellow gold, typical of French jewellery. |
