| Onyx & Diamond Drop Earrings |
These pretty onyx and diamond earrings are from the 1920s and are made from high carat gold. The main focus is a lovely teardrop shaped onyx stone, which is claw set in gold. Sitting centrally to the onyx is a small diamond and atop this drop is a larger, rub over set diamond. The top diamonds are approximately 10 points each, while the smaller diamonds are approximately 5 points each.The earrings are very attractive and extremely wearable. They are in excellent condition and articulated where the onyx joins the diamond at the top. They measure 2.5cm from the top of the diamond to the base of the teardrop. The onyx is 0.8cm at it's widest point. The hooks add approximately 0.7cm to the length of the earrings overall. The gold is not hallmarked, but has been tested as high carat gold. |
