| French Sapphire & Pearl Earrings |
These pretty French earrings are from the late Victorian period and are made from 18ct gold. They have a gold heart set centrally to a pretty twist design. At the centre of the heart is a beautiful blue sapphire with a seed pearl at the top and bottom and a small seed pearl drop, which is articulated.The earrings have the closed French fittings, which are incredibly secure, and, although they are not hallmarked, they have been tested as 18ct gold. They measure 2.6cm from the top of the hook to the bottom of the pearl drop. They are 1.5cm wide at their widest point. |
