| 9ct Gold Diamond Target Pendant |
This pretty 9ct gold pendant is from the early 20th Century and has a central old cut diamond of approximately 0.2 of a carat surrounded by a number of small diamond chips. The central design resembles a flower and has a blue enamel circular stripe surrounding it. Hanging from the 'target' design are seven tassles, also made from 9ct gold.The pendant can also be worn as a brooch. It hangs on a 9ct gold chain, which is more modern. The chain is hallmarked beside the catch, while the pendant is not. It has, however, been tested as 9ct gold. Where the brooch pin has been added, there is some lead soldering work. This cannot be seen when the piece is worn.The pendant measures 3.2cm from the top of the jump ring to the end of the longest tassle. The circle is 1.6cm in diameter. The chain measures 18"/45.5cm. |
