| 15ct Gold Moonstone Necklace |
This beautiful necklace is from the Edwardian period and is made from 15ct gold. There are four large moonstones, which have been claw set and linked together with a geometric design in 15ct gold. The moonstones are very vibrant and would look extremely eye-catching on the neck.
The chain of the necklace is 9ct gold, whilst the setting is 15ct gold. This was quite a common practice during this period and I have no reason to believe that the chain is a replacement. The necklace is not hallmarked, but has been tested as stated. It measures 19"/48cm, while the pendant hangs at 3.5cm from the top of central moonstone. |
