| Victorian 18ct Gold Onyx & Pearl Locket |
This Victorian locket is absolutely stunning and extremely eye-catching. It is made from solid 18ct gold and has a large oval piece of onyx to the front with a central flower design fashioned from natural pearls set in gold. The back is intricately etched with a floral design - very typical of the period.The quality in this piece is outstanding and this is shown in the item's weight. It contains two frames that are removable and behind these frames is an original photo and a piece of ivory with an original hair design. It has the original bale, which has black enamel to the front.The locket measures 5cm in length by 3.8cm wide. The bale adds an extra 1.2cm to the length. A truly marvellous piece in absolutely original condition. |
