This stunning pendant is made from high carat gold and has a beautiful opal as it's centrepiece with fabulous gold scroll work around it that has been studded with natural seed pearls. Hanging from this eye-catching design is another opal filled with fire. The pictures really do not do the opals in this piece justice as they both have lots of colour to them.
The pendant is marked on the back with some maker's marks and what looks to be some Japanese characters indicating that the piece is not English. It is, however, a piece of exceptional quality and has been tested as high carat gold. It measures 5.2cm from the top of the bale to the bottom of the opal drop. It is 2.5cm at it's widest point.
