This pretty necklace is from the Edwardian period and it is made from hundreds of little natural seed pearls that are interspersed with larger natural pearls. The pearls are a beautiful rich pale cream colour and have fabulous lustre.The necklace has been re-threaded for extra security and has a 9ct gold clasp, which is hallmarked. It measures 16"/40.5cm in length.
