This pretty necklace is from the Edwardian period and is a string of graduated pearls. The pearls are real and are a beautiful, rich cream with excellent lustre. They range in size from 3mm in diameter near the clasp to the larger central pearl of 7mm. They are securely thread with knots between each pearl for extra security. They have a 9ct gold bar clasp, typical of the period, which is hallmarked.
