Antique 15ct Gold Anchor & Hat Locket
A lovely and unusual locket from the late 19th Century. The locket is made from 15ct gold and is in the shape of a boater style hat with a pretty anchor set to the front. The gold has the wonderful bloom of 15ct gold. At the back is a little glass covered locket compartment that can be removed to place your own momento behind. The locket has its own split ring so could be hung on a fine chain as pictured or added to a thicker chain using the split ring. A truly lovely locket with the bail just off centre giving the locket an appealing, quirky look.
The locket will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.

Size - The locket measures approx 20mm by 18mm.
Condition - Very good. Some wear commensurate with age with some little dings here and there. Nothing of note.
