A beautiful locket from the turn of the last century, c1900. The locket is heart shaped and made from solid 9ct gold with rubbed hallmarks to the back and also on the bail. To the front, a riding crop across a horseshoe emblem has been applied in gold. This is original to the design and beautifully done.
The locket opens on a hinge to reveal a frame within. This can be removed to place your own photo behind.
The chain pictured is for display only. The bail is fairly small and suitable for a fairly fine chain only.
