A pretty pair of paste earrings from the early 20th Century. These earrings were likely made for a small child and would have been worn to ensure that their ear piercings remained open during the night. They are made from 9ct gold and have simple dormeuse fastenings with a small hook and a little latch to the bottom, making them very secure in the ear. They have clear paste stones that are claw set. These are very bright and look very pretty when worn.
Please note, these earrings have small hooks and are a little fiddly to close. When they are on, however, they do stay put!

Size - The paste measure approx 6mm in diameter. The earrings are around 10.5mm long from the top of the hook to the base of the paste.
Condition - Very good. One paste has a chip to one edge under a claw. Only visible when viewed through a loupe.
