Antique Amethyst Star Stud Earrings
A pretty and unusual pair of earrings from the early 20th Century, c1910s. The earrings are made from 15ct gold and have stunning cabochon amethysts set into simple gold settings. The settings are closed back and have a little rope twist design around the edge. The amethysts are a beautiful, vibrant purple and have star designs carved into the front. They are a good size giving them a real presence in the ear.
The earrings have 14kt butterfly backs, though these are not pictured.
