Antique Austro-Hungarian Pink Paste Earrings
A beautiful pair of earrings from the Victorian period, c1870s. The earrings are made from 800 silver, the standard grade for pieces such as this and are marked on the curve of the shepherds hook. They have beautiful pink paste stones, offset with little seed pearls. The pink of the paste is very vibrant and these are striking in the ear. The settings are fastened together with chain links, giving the earrings plenty of movement. A lovely pair of earrings that are fairly lightweight making them very wearable.
