Antique Boulder Opal Heart Pendant
A wonderful and unusual heart pendant from the turn of the last Century, c1900. The pendant is made from 9ct gold and is a slightly elongated heart; a beautiful shape. Within the gold frame is a heart shaped boulder opal. This is an opal that has flourished within a host rock allowing the wonderful rainbow colours to peak out from the darker elements of the rock. The flashes of reds, blues and greens from this one are truly bright and vivid.

Size - The heart measures approx 17.5mm long excluding the bail by 15mm wide.
Condition - Very good. A little loss at the back top corner of the boulder opal. Only visible from the back and not particularly noticeable at all.
