Antique Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring
A pretty cluster ring made from antique elements. The ring likely started life as something else, probably a stick pin, and has been converted at some stage, though it came to me as it is. It is a pretty cluster design with an emerald at the centre and a surround of lovely little rose diamonds. It looks to me as though there were likely pearls in these settings to begin with and these have been replaced with rose diamonds. The diamonds are fairly uniform in shape and cut and look to be modern replacements, though they have the same moody sparkle that you would always expect from an antique rose diamond. The gemstones sit in closed back silver settings and the ring is complete with an 18ct gold shank.
