Antique Lapis & Diamond Heart Pendant
A pretty and unusual heart pendant from the early 20th Century, dated with London import marks for 1924. The heart is made from 18ct gold and has a beautiful border of single cut diamonds. At the centre is a heart shaped lapis lazuli that has a deep blue colour with flecks of pyrite throughout; a common deposit in lapis lazuli stones that I always feel adds to the beauty. Through the centre of the lapis is a pretty little single cut diamond in a little millegrain setting. The heart has its original diamond studded bail and is in beautiful condition.
The heart will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.
