Antique Large Coral & Diamond Cluster Ring
A stunning ring from the Victorian period made on a lovely, grand scale. The ring has a beautiful domed natural coral at the centre. The coral is extremely vibrant and has a wonderful saturation of colour. Surrounding this lovely gem is a halo of old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds look to be all original and hand cut giving them a beautiful variation in their facets. They sit in open back settings to allow them to sparkle prettily and compliment the coral perfectly. The ring is 18ct gold and in beautiful condition.
The ring will come in the antique ring box pictured as this is how it came to me. I do not know whether it is the original.

Materials - 18ct Gold (tested), Coral, Diamonds
Age - Victorian
Size - The coral measures approx 12mm in diameter. The whole setting is around 16.1mm in diameter. It sits approx 9mm from the finger.
Ring Size - UK N ¾ /O US 7 ¼
Condition - Very good. No chips to the diamonds. It is tricky to get the gold on the back inside the setting completely clean as I cannot submerge the coral for too long, even in gentle solution. This cannot be seen when worn and has no bearing on the beauty of the ring.
Weight - 6.34g ring only
