A pretty pair of earrings from the Victorian period. The earrings likely started life as buttons and have been converted more recently, though they came to me as they are. They have beautiful, slightly domed, faceted glass set into a closed back setting with a pie crust style edge. The glass is a mystical olive green and the earrings have a wonderful air of sophistication about them.
The glass is set in rose gold coloured metal, whilst the hooks are 9ct yellow gold. The look is classic, yet interesting.
