Antique Opal Solitaire Ring
A wonderful ring from the early 20th Century, c1910s. The ring is made from solid 9ct gold that has a rosy tint to it. It is a simple four claw setting with a stunning natural opal at the centre. The opal has the most vivid colours throughout, mainly greens and blues with some patches of plain white, like little clouds amongst the chaos. The opal has been hand polished and is an interesting egg shape. To the underside you can see where the opal has been hand cut. Such a lovely ring with plenty of charm.
