A pretty pair of earrings from the early Victorian period. They likely started life as buttons and have been converted to earrings later. The earrings are lovely clear paste stones set into a closed back setting to form a flower cluster. The paste are pretty old cuts; faceted ovals for the petals and a round faceted stone at the centre. They are complete with 9ct gold hooks and sit well in the ear.
