Antique Petite Moonstone Sun Earrings
A pretty and petite pair of drop earrings from the turn of the last century, c1900. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and could have been converted from something else, perhaps a brooch (?), though they came to me as they are. They have lovely cabochon moonstones with a beautiful blue adularescence, set into sun or 8 pointed star settings. The suns sit at the end of a little bar drop and the earrings have shepherds hook fastenings.

Size - The moonstones measure approx 3mm in diameter. The suns are around 5.5mm in diameter. The earrings are approx 19mm long excluding the hooks.
