Antique 'This Be Your Lucky Star' Pendant
An original, antique example of this popular style of pendant. This lovely piece is made from solid silver, which is marked on the back, and has vibrant turquoise guilloche enamel in a sunbeam pattern to the front. Around the bottom curve, the words ‘This be your lucky star’ are written; a wonderful good luck charm with words to highlight the guiding lucky star at the centre of the enamel. The star would normally have a little gemstone in the middle, though this one is missing. In my opinion, this is not necessary and the charm is otherwise in excellent order with near perfect enamel.
