A stunning locket from the late 1920s. The locket is made from solid 15ct gold, marked on the inside, and has been made on a fairly large scale. It has beautiful machine work all over the outside, combining repetitive pattern with a foliate border. There is a plain circle to the front. Inside, there is a frame with the original glass. This can be removed to place your own photo. The locket has a good, firm closure and a beautifully made hidden hinge. Such quality.
