Art Deco 9ct Gold Albert Chain with T-Bar, 14 1/2"
A gorgeous chain from the early 20th Century, c1920s. The chain is made from solid 9ct gold and is hallmarked on every link. It is a classic albert chain style and feels as though it is two lengths of matching chain as each side has links that graduate in size towards the centre of each. It is entirely original with the t-bar and dog clip clasps showing matching makers marks of B&S. It is in beautiful condition and is an ideal everyday necklace as it is a fairly petite version of this style. As is the case with old gold, the chain has a mild rose tint, though I feel it leans more towards yellow than rose.
