Art Deco Amethyst & Diamond Dome Ring
A pretty and striking ring from the early 20th Century, c1920s. The ring is made from platinum and has a wonderful cabochon amethyst set into a simple platinum bezel. The amethyst is a lovely purple and exhibits some natural inclusions within. At the centre, a little drill hole has been made and a diamond has been set in its own platinum setting that follows through the amethyst. The amethyst has a lovely high dome and the ring makes a lovely statement on the hand.

Size - The amethyst measures approx 15mm in diameter and sits around 9mm high from the finger.
Ring Size - UK J 1/2 US 5 1/4. This ring could be resized a little.
Condition - Very good. A little nibbling to the amethyst around the drill hole. The diamond setting spins in place, though it is secure via the traditional rivet method.
